Black Haired Face by Bettina Schori

Bettina Schori created the Black Haired Face by
upcycling disposable objects and waste materials found on her way – in this case during a trip to India.

This friendly guy with very wild hair was born from recycled plastic and other found discarded materials that have been sterilised to give them a new use and to bring happiness to anyone wishing to give him a home.

In her work process, the artist cuts and reshapes the plastic using heat, to achieve the forms she is envisioning to bring to life these happy and fun characters. All materials are screwed or joint together without the use of glue.
