Designed by internationally acclaimed artist and designer Arik Levy for Czech glassmaker Verreum in 2012, the Drops Cactus Vase is one of the most distinctive contemporary glass designs of the last decades. Now discontinued, this rare piece has become increasingly sought after by collectors of modern design and art glass.

Inspired by the captivating sight of liquid mercury escaping from a broken thermometer, Levy transformed fleeting droplets into a sculptural object that appears almost weightless. Its flawless mirror-like surface captures and reflects its surroundings, creating the illusion of liquid silver suspended in glass.

Both functional and sculptural, the Drops Vase is designed with a single opening, perfectly suited to display a small cactus, succulent or orchid. Equally compelling when left empty, it functions as a contemporary art object that continually changes with the light and environment around it.

Whether placed on a coffee table, console, bookshelf or desk, its reflective form brings depth, light and conversation to any contemporary interior.

Exceptional craftsmanship, each vase is individually hand-blown in Prague, Czech Republic, by master glassmakers.

Its signature mirrored finish is created using 99.99% pure silver, applied to the interior of the glass. This traditional silvering technique protects the reflective surface while creating extraordinary optical depth and luminous reflections.

Every example bears the original Verreum metal label on the base together with Arik Levy's printed signature and is presented in its original branded box.

Care: As a hand-crafted glass object, this vase should be handled with care. Dust regularly using a feather duster. If required, wipe gently with a soft damp cloth before drying immediately with a clean, lint-free microfibre cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, paper towels or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the mirrored finish. Not dishwasher safe.

Arik Levy is an internationally acclaimed Israeli-born artist and designer based in Paris. Working across sculpture, industrial design and installation art, his work is held in prestigious museums and galleries worldwide. Renowned for combining sculptural expression with functional design, Levy creates objects inspired by nature, movement and light.

After graduating with distinction from Art Center Europe in Switzerland, he developed an international career spanning furniture, lighting, public sculpture and contemporary design. His work has received numerous international accolades, and he was awarded the prestigious Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Republic in recognition of his contribution to the arts.
